WebcastingTV, SunShine Pages to Launch Relationship
California-based WebcastingTV, which produces the V-Button streaming video product for online advertisers, has signed a reseller agreement with Louisiana-based independent publisher SunShine Pages.

SunShine Pages, a division of the local telephone company Eatel, publishes 10 directories in Louisiana and Mississippi. The company has roughly 40 sales representatives who will offer WebcastingTV's V-Buttons to local merchants as part of a print-online bundle, as well as à la carte. In addition, select SunShine Pages advertisers will be offered cable-TV advertising using video content from V-Button online ads.

The V-Buttons feature video content shot on the advertiser's location and are streamed at a rate consistent with the user's connection. Significantly, the service does not require broadband to function efficiently. The V-Buttons can also integrate other content and commerce elements, such as online scheduling and Voice over Internet Protocol links.

The WebcastingTV-SunShine Pages relationship kicks off officially on June 11 with a training session involving the company's sales force. SunShine sales reps will be armed with CDs that provide a demonstration of how the V-button product works.
