It was the very first trail blazed across the United States of America. To this day much of it remains as pristine as it was when William Clark and Meriwether Lewis conquered this savage landscape. Join us as we visit, what were once hostile and uncharted territories, and rediscover the endless beauty it still possesses today. You will learn about the everyday danger that Lewis and Clark faced, from flash floods to grizzly bear attacks, and come to appreciate their bravery. It's a modern day look at a truly epic crusade from sea to shining sea.

St. Louis, MO - Visit the past and present of a city where the greatest expedition in the United States history launched. What was once a training camp for Lewis and Clark's men is now a city sprawling with activity and commerce.

Council Bluff's, NE - Lewis and Clark made their first contact with Indians at this site. Presently, a monument stands overlooking the entire city to commemorate this journey.

Great Falls, MT - It is no wonder that the party decided to stay here longer than any of their other sites. This collection of stunningly beautiful waterfalls cascade down five levels and reach heights up to 89 feet.

Bitterroot Mountains, MT - Lewis and Clark needed guides and horses to cross this section of the Rocky Mountains. Today, however, you can view this range very easily by taking U.S. route 93 which traverses the exact route that the expedition took.

Astoria, OR - When Lewis and Clark visited this site they claimed the conditions to be so distressing that their leather clothing began to rot away. Today it stands as the oldest American settlement West of the Rockies. Witness breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean as rocky crags rip through the surf of Cannon Beach.
