WebcastingTV's database is the end result of 8 years of development. The source of the data varies broadly. The genesis of the list originated from the Passion of the Christ feature film online promotion. Subsequent use and expansion of the database has been through political campaigns, both state and federal, acquired data from commercial sources, donated data from client organization, or developed data from client broadcasts. (See a list of past clients)
The database is approximately 140 million names nationally. The data is CASS standardized and contains at least first-name, last-name, email, and postal address with +4 zip codes. We exercise and test the data continually with our proprietary Email Management System (EMS).
We divide the database into two broad blocks. The first is called our "previous openers" of Conservative or Christian messages, and is approximately 26 million records.
The second subset of the database is called our "gross" data. This represents the remaining non-bouncing data. There is additional data, also. This data is in addition to the 140 million records and represents the duplicate records for individuals (many people have 2 or more email addresses), and
records that have only partial information (such as only a zip code).
We have a variety of ways we "clean" data. We confirm that all data has a record of its origin, its acquisition date, and at least a zip code. We test data for active domains, bounces, and expiration. It is common for us to receive new data from clients and we 'bump' it against our existing database. There are a broad variety of ways to manage our database and combine it with our client's data.
We have data sorted for every congressional district and all 50 states. If you would like to know the data totals for any of these, or for any geographical zone you can define by zip codes, please feel free to contact us.
