Global
Crossing and WebcastingTV |
|
|
|
|
|
|

WebcastingTV has established a
strategic alliance with Ursus Telecommunications to provide world wide
bandwidth through its association with Global Crossing. |
|
|
|
|

Global Crossing has emerged as the world's
first independent provider of global long distance telecommunications
facilities and services, utilizing a network of undersea digital
fiber-optic cable systems and associated terrestrial backhaul capacity. As
such, the Company believes it is the first to offer its customers access
to multiple destinations worldwide through "one-stop shopping."
With the development of its global telecommunications network, Global
Crossing has positioned itself at the cutting edge of advanced
international undersea fiber-optic telecommunications systems and services. |

Global Crossing Network Control
Global Crossing Network Center,
in London's Docklands, was previewed for news media on September 16.
The entire Global Crossing network can be controlled from this
leading-edge facility Ursus has
bought large blocks of bandwidth in anticipation of future broadband
internet traffic. WebcastingTV will have preferred access to that
international bandwidth and can assure it's narrowcast clients that their
programming will be available 24/7.

The narrowcasting customers of
WebcastingTV can depend on more than enough bandwidth to deliver their
programs. In many ways, webcasting is the most effective way to
deliver video programs to many regions of the world. Physical delivery
of tapes or files can be delayed. Regular programming and live events become nearly
impossible. Through narrowcasting over the internet, viewers can
see, and respond to, programs that are timely and inexpensive. |
